Just about everyone who has ever worked in an office can appreciate the desire to do horrible things to certain office documents.
Well, thanks to the crazy geniuses at Japanese company Oriental Co., Ltd., you might soon be able to – and management will encourage it. The White Goat is a fancy on-site recycling machine that takes sheets of office paper and turns them into usable toilet paper. Using the machine can save 60 trees per year, so you can actually feel good about wiping with the quarterly expense reports or whatever other documents you feel like punishing.
sourcethis is ingenious..what about a reverse machine? toilet paper to office paper?
Three things. One, is this paper septic-tank safe? What will it do to our sewage systems?
Two, the cedar trees used to make our paper are grown on farms. They are a controlled, renewable resource. The trees you want to save are in the rainforest.
Three. Wouldn’t recycling the paper be more effective for “saving trees,” since even once-recycled paper can be recycled again and again? Toilet paper is used once, then destroyed.
yes but this is insanely funny. like “haha im wipin my ass with you, paperwork!”
